About the company:
NONLIMI is open-core simulation infrastructure for autonomous systems - from a free-tier GitHub install to a classified defense environment - so teams can find every failure mode before the real world does. We are building a simulation validation system for autonomous systems to verify simulation accuracy and detect all possible errors. It is starting with warehouse robotics the simplest environment, with plans to expand to all autonomous systems.
Serious simulation has been out of reach for most teams. Applied Intuition starts at $50K/year. NVIDIA Isaac Sim requires GPU lock-in. Ansys averages $320K annually. The result: robotics companies, drone teams, and autonomy startups across Europe test less than they should and deploy with uncertainty they cannot afford. NONLIMI changes that. Our open-source core (Apache 2.0) wraps NVIDIA Isaac Lab and MuJoCo into a simulation orchestration layer any team can install in minutes. Our AI Cloud adds natural language scenario generation, cloud-scale parallel simulation, and synthetic data pipelines. Our Enterprise and Defense layers add classified environment support, custom sensor suites, dedicated compute, and EU sovereign deployment - on the same platform, without switching vendors.
Who we build for: robotics startups and scale-ups, industrial OEMs, European defense programs, university research labs.
About the role:
You'll be our first and only PM - find Product Market Fit with our Tech Lead (co-founder), run discovery with robotics teams, and shape our open-source release. No inherited backlog, no expectation to do it all at once. Scope grows as we do.
What you'll actually do at the start:
· Find PMF - build and test hypotheses with the market, with the Tech Lead
· Run discovery with robotics teams (starting with Warehouse Robotics)
· Own the open-source release cadence for Nonlimi Core (GitHub, community feedback)
Later, as we grow: full product roadmap across tiers, enterprise/defense specs, marketplace mechanics. (Defense will likely spin out as its own track.)
What we build:
· Physics simulation - ground, air, and maritime domains
· AI scenario generation from plain English
· Synthetic data pipelines: camera, LiDAR, radar, thermal - fully labeled
· Regulatory validation: ISO 26262, Euro NCAP, NATO STANAG
· Marketplace of environments, scenarios, and datasets
· EU sovereign deployment for defense and critical infrastructure
Requirements:
· 5+ years in product management, with at least 2 years as a senior IC owning strategy, not just execution.
· Developer tools or infrastructure product experience - SDKs, APIs, simulation tools, data pipelines, or similar.
· Technical fluency in robotics or autonomous systems - ROS/ROS2, simulation workflows, or autonomous system development. Enough to challenge specs and work credibly with engineers.
· End-to-end product ownership - from problem discovery through to GA launch and post-launch iteration.
· Comfortable working across customer types - startup practitioners and enterprise/government procurement cycles.
Nice to have:
· Background in defense tech, UAV/drone systems, autonomous vehicles, or industrial automation.
· Experience with open-core or open-source GTM models.
· Familiarity with EU AI Act, ISO 26262, or NATO STANAG compliance.
· Prior experience as the first or only PM at a seed-stage company.
· Network in the European robotics, drone, or defense innovation space.
What we offer:
· Performance component discussed at offer
· Equity discussable after 1 year
· On-site in Madrid during the first 6-12 months
· Hybrid possible after that
· Relocation package available
· Close collaboration with CEO, Director of Operations and CTO
· Product with signed LOIs
· EU and NATO defense clearance pathway as the company scales
