Our client is looking to hire a strong BI Developer / Data Analyst. They are a global leader in digital marketing. The company's goal is to simplify decision-making and connect customers with valuable brands. Their technology helps millions of consumers around the world make smarter, more confident buying decisions.
The role involves both data analytics and technical skills: gathering data, developing tools and dashboards, evaluating data, and sharing findings that affect business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Working with different company departments and setting business requirements for BI tools
- Translating business requirements into technical ones
- Suggesting technical options to meet the requirements and creating a BI architecture. Providing time estimation
- Leading and executing BI software development, deployment, and maintenance:
- Creating Power BI reports based on client requirements
- Taking data from different data sources: databases, internal and external API, Google Sheets and more
- Developing different visualization levels and dashboards
- Maintaining and optimizing existing reports
- Ensuring data correctness
- Testing reports of other BI developers
- Creating technical documentation for BI tools
- Evaluating data, collating findings relevant to the business, and sharing them in a manner that can bring about an effective change in a business:
- Breaking down key business data: gather, clean, and analyze data
- Interpreting the data: Find patterns or see areas in the data that signal a potential for improvement in business practices
- Sharing findings: visualizing data in graphs and charts, recommendations to improve or grow the business based on their findings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in a BI developer & data Analyst role
- Experience with Power BI, including a good knowledge of DAX
- Deep knowledge of SQL Databases and SQL script optimisation
- Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (formulas)
- Experience with Python
- Non-relational database - advantage
- Advanced analysis and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- The ability to work both as a team player and independently
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Self-learning abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at all organizational levels
- Fluent in English
