Our client is looking to take a major step forward. They're expanding our range of EdTech products and integrating cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI and machine learning, to transform the learning experience for our customers.
We seek a Senior Full Stack Developer that is not only a top engineer but is also a mentor and leader who can guide our development team to excellence. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and will be motivated to drive the company’s technical vision forward. If you have not led a technical team before but are keen to step up, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead full-stack development of containerised web applications, actively mentoring and guiding developers through code reviews and training to foster best practices.
● Integration of third-party APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and marketing, to deliver features that delight users.
● Embrace the challenges and opportunities of working in a small team, showing flexibility, initiative, and a drive to make an impact.
Qualifications:
● Experience: 5+ years in backend/full-stack development, specializing in PHP (Laravel) and Vue.js.
● Solid understanding of Devops/Sysadmin: To help develop and improve on optimised docker deployments and operations.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency in core web technologies including PHP (Laravel), Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS A solid understanding and experience of automated testing and CI/CD.
● API Integration: Proven API integration experience (HubSpot or CRM a plus).
● Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills (or potential) and strong problem-solving skills.
● Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
● Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an Agile development environment.
● Startup Experience: Previous experience working in a startup or similar fast-paced environment is a plus.
● Familiarity with ML/AI: Python, node or other related tools is a plus.
● Strong communication skills and high level in English.
● Education: A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
