As a Senior Networking Automation QA Engineer at Larch Networks, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and performance of our advanced networking products, including switches, routers, and network packet brokers. You will design and implement a custom Python-based test automation framework, integrate it with development workflows, and uphold the highest software quality standards in line with industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Python-based test automation framework tailored for networking products like switches, routers, and packet brokers.

Create and execute detailed test plans to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements.

Collaborate with development teams to integrate test automation into the software development lifecycle.

Monitor and address quality issues, implementing solutions promptly.

Stay updated on industry trends in test automation and quality assurance.

Work closely with QA team members to align strategies with customer needs.
Requirements:

Experience in the networking industry, specifically with configuring switches and routers.

In-depth understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and architectures (e.g., L2/L3, ARP, VLAN, STP, IGMP, BGP, SNMP, etc.).

Strong experience in software testing and quality assurance, focusing on test automation and scripting.

Proficiency in Python and experience with other scripting languages.

Familiarity with network testing tools like Spirent and Ixia.

Knowledge of tools like Git and Docker.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
