We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Full Stack Laravel Developer/Lead to join our startup team and lead the development of a cutting-edge media platform. As the Team Lead, you will be instrumental in shaping the technical direction of the project, building the platform from the ground up, and leading a team of developers to deliver a scalable and innovative solution in the media domain.
As Full Stack Laravel Developer/Lead, you will be responsible for:
Technical Leadership:
-Lead the development team in architecting, developing, and deploying a robust media platform using Laravel framework.
-Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies.
Project Planning and Execution:
-Collaborate with the founding team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
-Develop project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Team Management:
-Recruit, onboard, and lead a team of talented developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
-Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and support career growth for team members.
Product Development:
-Drive the development of core features and functionalities of the media platform, including content management, user engagement, and analytics.
-Work closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Architecture and Scalability:
-Architect scalable and maintainable solutions, considering performance, security, and future growth.
-Implement best practices for code organization, modularization, and system scalability.
Quality Assurance:
-Establish quality assurance processes and practices to ensure the reliability, usability, and performance of the platform.
-Conduct thorough testing and code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality.
Technology Evaluation and Integration:
-Evaluate and integrate third-party tools, APIs, and services to enhance platform functionality and user experience.
-Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in the media domain.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
-Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical designs, system architecture, and development processes.
-Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the development team.
We’re looking for someone with:
- Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Laravel framework and startup environment.
- Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience in leading and managing development teams in a startup or fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Will be a plus:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in building media platforms or content management systems.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and DevOps practices for scalable infrastructure.
- Experience with microservices architecture and API development.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-stack web development, with a focus on Laravel and startup environments.
