About the company:
MD Finance is an international product FinTech company engaged in financial projects in various markets and market segments. Core business areas include online lending, KYC, LaaS (lending software as a service) products and ad tech. All projects were launched and managed by an in-house team. There are offices in Nicosia, Bucharest, Prague and a co-working space in Kyiv.

Tech Stack: Java 11-13, React, PostgreSQL,Oracle, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway).

We are looking for a CTO to lead a high-performing technology team, to create a plan for the development and scaling of the current product, to adjust processes to be more efficient with a strategy for entering new markets.

As CTO, you will be responsible for:
●   Develop and implement the overall technology Plan aligned with the company’s business goals.
●   Be in charge of the architecture and ecosystems of the company’s IT products.
●   Design and maintain a scalable, secure, and robust technology infrastructure.
●   Lead the product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
●   Build and lead a high-performing technology team.
●   Oversee department budgets, and resource allocation.
●   Evaluate, select, and manage technology vendors and partners.
●   Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, operations, marketing) to define and prioritize features based on market needs and bring new products to market.
●   Work closely with other C-level executives, including the CEO and CFO, to align technology initiatives with overall business strategy.

Expected Results:
●   Developed a cohesive and efficient development team capable of exceeding performance expectations.
●   Completed the technology development 2024 plan fully and on time.
●   Selected a scalable technology stack to support business growth objectives, implementation plan created.
●   Established robust security measures and resilience strategies, ensuring the integrity and uninterrupted operation of our technology systems.

We’re looking for someone with:
●   Proven track record of at least 10 years in software development.
●   Previous experience as a CTO for min 5 years.
●   Proven experience leading and managing technology teams.
●   Experience in managing large complex projects.
●   High technical level in our technical stack (Java 11-13, React, PostgreSQL, AWS (Lambda, API Gateway)) as well as knowledge of other languages PHP at the level of understanding and the possibility of conducting interviews.
●   Experience with DevOps processes.
●   Deep understanding of design patterns and best practices in development.
●   Business-oriented mindset.
●   Upper-intermediate level English.

Will be a plus:
●  Experience working in a FinTech company will be a significant advantage.

Hiring process:
1.HR Prescreen call (~30 min).
2.Interview with CEO and HRD  (~1:00 hour).
