We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Engineering Lead to oversee a diverse group of engineers working on electronics, avionics, mechanics, and manufacturing within our project. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, an understanding of systems engineering principles, and the ability to manage communication, dependencies, and deadlines across multiple engineering departments.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers specializing in electronics, avionics, mechanics, and manufacturing, ensuring alignment with project objectives and deadlines.
- Implement and uphold systems engineering principles to facilitate the integration of diverse components and subsystems.
- Coordinate communication and collaboration between electronics, avionics, mechanics, and manufacturing departments to ensure seamless workflow and project progression.
- Identify and manage dependencies between different engineering disciplines, proactively resolving conflicts and mitigating risks to project timelines and deliverables.
- Utilize ERP tools like Odoo to streamline project management processes, including resource allocation, scheduling, and budget tracking.
- Leverage systems engineering tools like Valispace to facilitate requirements management, design validation, and system verification activities.
Requirements:
- Systems engineering experience, integrating electronics with avionics.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams toward shared goals.
- Experience in managing diverse teams of engineers.
- Understanding of systems engineering principles and methodologies, with practical experience in applying them to complex projects.
- Experience with ERP tools such as Odoo and systems engineering tools like Valispace is highly advantageous.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
