We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with Java experience to join a startup company based in Canada (remote).
The project will focus on Portfolio and Wealth Management, client onboarding, and AI integration with banking.
Responsibilities:
· Design and implement automated tests for software systems and integrations in the finance and banking industry using Java.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and develop test plans and test cases.
· Analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
· Work closely with developers to provide feedback on code quality and functionality.
· Participate in code reviews and provide suggestions for improvements.
· Develop and maintain technical documentation related to testing.
Requirements:
· 2+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer with Java.
· Good knowledge of Java programming language and experience with automation testing frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, or JUnit.
· Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
· Experience with JMeter, Gatling, Magix.
· Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
· Knowledge of SQL and database management.
· Experience with version control systems like Git.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
