About the project:
This is a completely new e-commerce/marketplace product that we are writing from scratch, using our many years of expertise and taking into account all the pitfalls that we know about.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze, propose, and manage budgets, technologies, and resources for projects
- Create an environment where engineers grow and the team becomes autonomous and self-sufficient
- Plan strategies for the development of designs and products on schedule and on budget
- Communicate and collaborate with other managers, stakeholders, and contractors
- Prioritize, delegate, and supervise all engineers’ activities and deliverables
- Build, evaluate, and maintain team processes to increase performance
- Hire new talent for the team and offer coaching and development opportunities
- Provide input in strategic technical decisions and solutions, when needed
- Build technical documentation and team roadmaps
Requirements:
- Strong technical expertise, understanding of system design
- 2+ years working in managerial roles
- More than 5 years of working within an engineering organization with progression to a managerial role
- Experience with ML will be a plus
