About the project: The client provides a single platform for global supply chain Execution, Visibility & Event Management specifically designed to support all shipments — all modes of transportation, domestic, international, inbound, outbound, and third party — so clients can monitor, manage, and execute global supply chain activities in real-time. We are an established small business based in San Mateo, CA serving large enterprise clients. We embrace the start-up culture and energy, and we’re passionate about data & supply chain. We’re seeking a hardworking, responsible, smart, and driven engineer to join our team.
The structure of the team: Team is distributed between 2 location in Dnipro and San Mateo (California). Dnipro: 6 Java developers, 1 front-end developer, 2 automation QAs, 1 manual QA, 1 DevOps engineer San Mateo: 1 CTO, 1 Java Developer, 2 QA Engineer/Analyst
Requirements:
Important personal skills: Our ideal candidate is well-versed in applying DevOps methodologies towards systems management; architecting and building reliable, highly available, scalable and distributed systems. You’ll apply your deep knowledge and previous experiences to design and implement a deployment and configuration pipeline that will scale with our team. Our Environment: SaaS, Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3), Docker instances, Linux, WebSphere Cast Iron Cloud integration, Intellicus (Reporting), Nginx, JDK8, JBOSS 10 (Wildfly), JQuery, Angularjs, SOA-JEE web services backed by EJBs, Oracle 11gR2, Eclipse; MySQL 5.6, Ant, Ansible, Teamcity, Crucible, Archiva.
As s Plus: Broad technology background: AWS admin, Quality/DevOps/Automation mindset, SaaS, SOA Strong UNIX/Linux system administration experience and proven ability to manage and support the day-to-day.
