About client:
Our client is the market-leading, independent, pension data and administration systems consultant. Based in London, Guildford, and Edinburgh. The main business areas are:
- UK’s pension administration software packages
- Bespoke pension administration systems build and implementation management
- Data risk auditing and data migration
- Third-party pension administration outsourcing advice
About project:
We develop a solution that consists of independent components (subsystems) that cover different areas of processing and analysis of pension data, identity verification, big data processing using machine learning, etc.
Base tech stack:
- Frontend components Vue.JS and React.JS
- Backend components are based on .NET/.NET core stack
- Databases are MongoDB and PostgreSQL (Amazon Aurora)
- Infrastructure is located on AWS Cloud
What knowledge and experience we expect from our candidate:
- 2+ years of experience in web development
- At least 1 year of experience in React, Redux, Vue, Vuex, Webpack
- Strong JavaScript knowledge, ES5, ES6+, TypeScript
- React, patterns, and features: HOC, RenderProps, Hooks
- Implementing async communication with REST API backends (Axios)
- Strong HTML5/CSS3 knowledge
- English level from intermediate and higher
Will be a plus:
- Expertise in Typescript including relevant work experience with React, Vue, and Typescript
- Knowledge of web standards, e.g. native DOM, Event APIs, accessibility
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL
