About us

Propertymate is a US-based startup that helps users search and compare new residential constructions. The platform aims to digitize and simplify the real estate buying process by matching buyers with developers and agents. Propertymate was founded in 2018 by Bohdan Hnatkovsky and Sofia Vyshnevska. It has offices in the United States and Ukraine.

We expect you to have:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience in front-end development;
  • Excellent experience in HTML5, CSS, and other web fundamentals;
  • Strong knowledge of React.js, JavaScript, Typescript;
  • Experience with such tools as Redux, Webpack, Git, GitHub;

Would be nice to have:

  • Experience working with products in the Real Estate domain;
  • Experience working with Maps (Google Maps, Mapbox, etc.);
  • Passion for UI development and perfect design implementations;
  • Bootstrap 4, Material-UI, Element-UI.

Our technology stack

  • React 16.8 + (context, hooks), JavaScript ES6 +, Jest;
  • Typescript v4, Redux, Webpack;

What you’ll do

  • Use React.js to create a highly usable client-facing product;
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code;
  • Create from scratch and maintain high standards for code quality, code documentation, application performance, and stability;
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use;
  • Collaborate through code reviews;
  • Work with CI/СD instruments;
  • Collaborate with teams to understand product vision and follow requirements;
  • Writing unit tests;
  • Optimization for achieving high application performance;
  • Ask the right questions and think deeply about building solutions that support both our short-term and long-term goals.
