Limelight Networks Ukraine are in search of experienced QA Engineer to work with minimal supervision and communicate clearly and effectively with other EdgeQuery team members, core developers, and project managers.
EdgeQuery is a Limelight Fundamental Technology for Real-Time Data Analytics and Reporting belonging to Big Data domain. The Technology processes terabytes of generated data with speed of light and enables Limelight to offer best-of-breed Real-Time Analytics for our customers.
Project is live for more than 4 years. Current stage: Production. Live support and improvements.
But this is a highly loaded live project with cutting edge big data technologies. In stage of expansive extension.
Team: Scrum team of 3 developers.

Essential Functions:

First and the main goal for Senior QA Engineer will be setting up QA processes on the big data project

The goal: catch most of the issues on QA / staging phases and minimize the number of issues in production
Qualifications (Minimum Experience, Education, Training Skills):

Strong analytical skills

Experience in test automation
-
Experience in backend manual software testing (back-end distributed solutions)

Experience with Python / Java

Experience with messaging broker (Kafka)
